Operating in-between Quito, Mexico City, New York and Miami, Terminal publishes books, zines and editions in collaboration with Latin American artists and curators. It's a platform exploring art within the diaspora, alternative visions of contemporary culture, resistance discourses, archives, manifestos and latinx politics, food, sound and memory. They've been invited to some of the most recognized art and artist book fairs in the world like Printed Matter Art Book Fair (New York/Los Angeles), Miss Read (Berlin), Artslibris (Barcelona), MiraLook (Madrid) and Material (Mexico), amongst others.

Terminal books are in the collection of institutions like the MET Museum, the New York City Public Library, the Centro for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College, Printed Matter, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) and the Reina Sofía  Museum.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Terminal started DistANSIAS, a series of fifteen free publications by Latin American artists in confinement. Download the collection here.

Terminal was founded in 2019 by Gabriela Valarezo and Jaime Nuñez del Arco.
